Eren’s Titan Form Was Modeled After an MMA Fighter
In several interviews, Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama revealed that Eren Yeager’s Attack Titan form was modeled after real-life MMA fighter Yushin Okami. Isayama specifically drew from Okami’s muscular build and intense facial expressions to shape the Titan’s intimidating appearance.
This choice added a sense of realism and raw physicality to Eren’s Titan, helping it stand out among the series' many fearsome creatures. The grounded design also reflects Isayama’s approach to making Titans both monstrous and eerily human.
