Oda Made Chopper Smaller to Stand Out

Tony Tony Chopper was originally designed as a large reindeer in One Piece. However, Eiichiro Oda decided to shrink his size during development. The reason? To keep him visually unique and not get overshadowed by the larger, louder personalities in the Straw Hat crew.

This design change helped Chopper stand out and become a fan-favorite mascot full of heart and charm.
